I'm happy you're here. My name is Shannon Pratten, and I’m truly honored to walk beside you on this deeply personal and transformative journey into parenthood.

With over 20 years as a NICU registered nurse and 13 years as a board-certified lactation consultant, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience as a mother of three. I understand the many emotions that come with those early days—from joy and wonder to uncertainty and exhaustion—and I’m here to support you through it all.

I offer in-home lactation consultations, because I believe there’s nothing quite like being supported in the comfort of your own space. I accept most major insurances to help ease the burden of accessing care, and I work closely with many trusted local providers—pediatricians, OBs, midwives, cranial sacral therapists, dentists, and more—to ensure that you and your baby receive collaborative, whole-family care.

Every baby, every parent, and every journey is different. Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, or just trying to figure out what works best for your family, my goal is to meet you where you are—with compassion, knowledge, and zero judgment.
